the villa.

you wake up in a villa that looks like it was furnished in 1974 and left alone since. vinyl on the shelves, an old vending machine, a firepit you end up around most nights.

the pool and the garden are yours, the sea is down the road, and we took the whole building, so there are no other guests. before january it grows: three more rooms and a games area with a pool table, darts and an outdoor gym.

the home surf spot is unreal. we keep the name off the internet so you get it as empty as it is now. the drive there is straight out of a jurassic park movie.

we pick you up at lombok airport and drive you in. a private driver stays with us all week, so you can go and explore whenever you want.

breakfast is out when you wake up, mimosas too. dinner is one long table, all of us, every night. tell us what you don't eat when you book and the chef cooks around it.

surf & the trips

we take you out to the best spot of the day, surf safari style. never surfed? you'll be in the group with everyone else who hasn't, in warm water with no wetsuit. every session is filmed, so you see what you're actually doing and fix it the next day. the boat day, the gilis, and a driver all week are in there too.

yoga sessions through the week, daily if you want them, and a spa day. massages are free and on request, any day.

every room has a bed with a view and a door straight outside. proper mattresses, mosquito nets, and bathrooms that open to the air.

eight summers of amigos in spain. lombok is us pushing that further. a new place, a new setup, everything we always wanted to try.

i spent four years teaching surf around the world before amigos. lombok is the place i kept coming back to.

quick answers.

is the villa ready?
yes. the villa is standing and we stayed in it this summer. it has been rented out for years and sits at 9.3 on booking.com. before january we add an extension: three more rooms and a games area with a pool table, darts and an outdoor gym.
i'm coming alone. is that weird?
no. most people come alone. sixteen strangers on saturday, one table by sunday.
i don't eat everything.
say so when you book. the chef cooks around it from day one.
i've never surfed.
no problem. coaching starts from zero, six days a week.
can i pick my exact week now?
yes. pick it in the calendar. you can change the week later, no problem.
flights and getting there?
fly into lombok (LOP). we pick you up and drop you back.
what if i can't come at all?
the deposit isn't refunded in cash, but your spot is never lost. move your week to any open saturday, right up to 14 days before you arrive. or give it to anyone, free.
