Amigos Surf Project is a vibrant and dynamic surf camp located in the north of Spain. We pride ourselves on creating an immersive vibe and an unforgettable experience for our guests, combining the thrill of surfing with high-quality service and with a welcoming atmosphere.
Amigos is a community-driven surf camp for solo travelers who want more than just waves — they want connection, meaning, and the best week of their lives. Our guests are mostly early-to-mid-20s, lots of first-time female travelers, beginner surfers, and people who travel to feel something real.
Instagram is our heartbeat. Most guests discover us there. We want someone who treats the platform like their personal storytelling playground.
Your Mission
Make Amigos one of the strongest, most loved, most creative travel brands on Instagram by creating scroll-stopping content, riding pop-culture waves, and building a healthy, active community that grows every month.
What You’ll Do
Content & Creative
- Plan, create, and post minimum 5 pieces of content per week (Reels, carousels, stories).
- Develop content that feels fresh, culturally aware, and emotionally charged, inspired by brands like Duolingo, Ryanair, GUESS, youth-travel creators, etc.
- Work with our team to source weekly raw footage, guest stories, and UGC.
- Maintain a 2–4 week content calendar with planned trends, formats, and series.
Community Management
- Reply to all comments within 24 hours.
- Reply to all DMs within 24 hours — warm, human, and helpful.
- Turn DMs into booking leads through real conversation.
- Engage daily with creators in our niche/sub-niche with meaningful comments (not emojis, not spam).
- Support and grow relationships with returning guests, creators, and micro-influencers.
Growth & Performance
- Study what content performs weekly and double down on winning formats.
- Produce at least 1 viral video per month (1M+ views) and 4 videos with 100K+ views.
- Track and improve:
- Reach
- Saves & shares
- Profile visits
- Website clicks
- DM inquiries
- Keep everything aligned with Amigos’ personality: Real, warm, fun, human, non-corporate, non-cheesy.
- Capture the emotional side of travel, friendship, first waves, vulnerability, and joy.
- Absolutely no generic surf clichés or lifeless travel marketing.
- Create a monthly KPI report with insights + a clear plan for the next month.
KPIs (Your Scoreboard)
- +1,000 organic followers per month (minimum)
- 1 viral reel/month (1,000,000+ views)
- 4 reels/month hitting 100,000+ views
- 100% of comments and DMs replied to within 24 hours
- 5 posts per week, daily stories
- 20+ meaningful outbound comments per day
- Monthly increase in website clicks + booking-related DMs
- Monthly performance report delivered on time
- Content consistently on-brand and high quality
What You Bring
- Experience managing Instagram for a brand (travel/hospitality/youth/lifestyle preferred)
- Strong knowledge of modern IG culture, memes, sounds, trends, and formats
- Confidence editing short-form video (CapCut or similar)
- Very strong English writing skills
- Comfortable with fast-paced environments and seasonal intensity
- Ability to communicate with warmth and personality
- Creativity paired with discipline — you love experimenting, but also hitting numbers
