Cantabria is the perfect place to unwind, explore and experience the magic of North Spain.

40min from Santander Airport & 90min from Bilbao, Cantabria is a magical region located in the north of Spain. It has idyllic and lonely beaches, spectacular mountainous landscapes, delicious gastronomy, cultural offerings and welcoming cities. The Cantabrian coast is dotted with many incredible surf spots, from world-class breakaways and reef breakers to gentle beach braking.

Our camp is located at Camping Rodero, located in the Oyambre National Park. It is the perfect place to stay in the camp and enjoy the great outdoors. Your lessons will be at Oyambre beach, just a 10-minute walk from the beach, where you will find different waves for all levels. There is an excellent surf all year round.

To Do

We recommend you the best places to visit in the region: Discover the incredible beaches of Costa Quebrada or La Salvé beach. Visit the spectacular natural park Picos de Europa, the Liébana Valley and the Asón River Waterfall. Nor can you miss the Faro del Caballo, the Pechón Peninsula or the El Soplao Cave.

Culture

Cantabria has a great cultural offer, we recommend you to visit the nearest cities, Santander, Bilbao, Oviedo and Gijón, and small charming towns such as Comillas, Santillana del Mar, Bárcena Mayor, Suances or Castro Urdiales.

Food & Drink

Taste one of the best gastronomy in the world. We recommend visiting some taverns and restaurants to savor the quality of the Cantabrian sea food, such as Vermutería El Soloórzano, Casa Lita or Casa del Indiano.

How to get to the camp

It will take you around 40 mins from Santander Airport and 90 mins from Bilbao Airport. You can quickly catch a bus ride to Comillas or San Vicente, where we pick you up for free.

We also offer transfers from and to the Airport.
