Amigos is a community-driven surf camp for solo travelers who want more than just waves — they want connection, meaning, and the best week of their lives. Our guests are mostly early-to-mid-20s, lots of first-time female travelers, beginner surfers, and people who travel to feel something real.
Job Description
Mornings set the tone for the entire camp experience — and as Breakfast Manager, you’ll be the one creating that energy. We’re looking for a proactive, organized, and charismatic leader to run our morning operation, manage a team of four, and deliver an unforgettable breakfast and lunch experience every single day.
Your Role
As Breakfast Manager, you’ll design and execute a high-quality breakfast and lunch buffet, coordinate a four-person team, maintain communication with guests and staff, and keep all planning, ordering, and budgeting on track. You’ll work closely with the Head Chef, oversee ordering and budgets, and ensure everything runs smoothly from prep to cleanup.You are the morning leader — the person ensuring that both the food and the vibes are consistently great.
What You’ll Do
Planning & Coordination
- Create weekly breakfast menus based on guest numbers, dietary needs, and weather.
- Plan for allergies, special requests, and surf-lesson timing.
- Monitor inventory, conduct regular stock checks, and order supplies in collaboration with the Head Chef.
- Track product usage to support cost control and budgeting.
Team Leadership
- Lead and manage a four-person breakfast team every morning.
- Assign roles, give clear tasks, and ensure efficient workflow.
- Hold short daily briefings and support training when needed.
- Maintain a positive, motivating atmosphere during busy mornings.
Quality, Hygiene & Safety
- Ensure all hygiene, food-safety, and storage standards are followed.
- Oversee the cleanliness of kitchen, buffet, common areas, and equipment.
- Maintain visually appealing and consistent food presentation in line with Amigos’ aesthetic standard.
What You Bring
- Proven experience in breakfast service or hospitality management.
- Strong leadership, communication skills and organizational skills - clear, friendly, and solution-oriented.
- Ability to manage time, multitask, and perform under pressure.
- Knowledge of food-safety and hygiene procedures.
- An eye for detail and presentation. A guest-first mindset and passion for delivering high-quality experiences.
- A reliable, team-focused mindset and the ability to lead by example.
- Confidence in handling budgeting, ordering, and inventory.

- Workshops: The team are more than welcome to join the Surf Theory class, hosted by the surf instructors, and the Nutrition Workshop, hosted by the chefs.
