Amigos Surf Project is a vibrant and dynamic surf camp located in the north of Spain. We pride ourselves on creating an immersive vibe and an unforgettable experience for our guests, combining the thrill of surfing with high-quality service and with a welcoming atmosphere.

Amigos is a community-driven surf camp for solo travelers who want more than just waves — they want connection, meaning, and the best week of their lives. Our guests are mostly early-to-mid-20s, lots of first-time female travelers, beginner surfers, and people who travel to feel something real.

Our surf camp is all about great vibes, amazing drinks, and unforgettable moments. We're looking for a skilled, friendly, and proactive bartender to run our cocktail bar, serve guests with a smile, and ensure smooth operations behind the bar.

As the Bartender, you'll be the heart of our bar — crafting cocktails, serving drinks, and making guests feel welcome. You'll also manage stock, track expenses, and ensure the bar stays clean, organized, and efficient throughout service.

What You'll Do:

Prepare and serve drinks, cocktails, beer, and wine to guests
Greet guests warmly and provide excellent customer service
Keep the bar clean, organized, and stocked throughout the shift
Track inventory, restock supplies, and manage expenses to stay within budget
Assist the kitchen team when service is slow
Follow opening and closing procedures to ensure smooth operation

What You Bring:

Minimum 1-2 years of bartending experience
Knowledge of cocktails, beer, and wine
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Excel and basic budgeting skills for tracking bar expenses
Flexibility to work evenings

How many years of bartending experience do you have?

No bartending experience.Less than 1 year.1–2 years.3-5 years.5+ years.

How comfortable are you preparing classic cocktails?

I usually keep cocktail orders very simple and try to stay with what I know well.I have a small set of classics I fall back on and repeat those when people order cocktails.I tend to follow house recipes and focus on making them consistent throughout the shift.I like working with a full cocktail list and juggling different orders as they come in.

Rate your experience with beer, wine, and general bar service.

Most of what I've done has been basic service, like opening bottles or pouring simple drinks.I'm used to handling standard bar orders and keeping things moving at a steady pace.I regularly switch between beer, wine, and mixed drinks during service without thinking much about it.I'm comfortable running a full bar where many different types of drinks are being ordered at the same time.

How experienced are you with stock control and inventory management?

Whenever I notice things are running low I let someone know.I often help with restocking shelves or fridges when there's time.I try to keep track of what's being used and make sure the bar is topped up before busy periods.I'm used to checking stock regularly, updating lists, and adjusting what needs to be ordered.

I prefer sharing the bar with someone else when it gets busy.I can cover the bar alone for a while, but I like knowing support is close if needed.Once everything is set up, I'm fine running the bar on my own through busy stretches.I like having full control of the bar and managing the rush by myself.

Are you comfortable helping the kitchen team when bar service is slow?

I usually stay focused on bar duties unless someone directly asks for help.I help the kitchen occasionally when things are quiet and I'm caught up.I tend to move between the bar and kitchen when there's time, so both stay on track.I naturally look for ways to support other teams whenever my side is under control.

I tend to stay on the edge at first and ease in slowly, or sometimes I just keep to myself.I say hi to a couple of people and join the group once I feel settled.I naturally drift into conversations and connect with whoever's around.I move around the space, chat with different people, and help lift the energy a bit.

When the team is busy and a lot is happening at once, which option sounds most like you?

I usually keep to my responsibilities and try not to get overwhelmed by the noise around me.I stay focused but prefer when things have structure and clear direction.I get into the flow of the team and adjust easily as things shift throughout the day.I tend to gain energy from the movement and interaction, it helps me stay motivated.

What does community mean to you in a workplace?

Community means keeping things peaceful and avoiding conflict.Community means being polite and getting along with people when needed.Community means being friendly but mainly focusing on my own responsibilities.Community means supporting each other, communicating openly, and helping others succeed.Community means contributing actively, feeling part of a team, and creating a positive environment.

When you live and work with the same group of people for a long period, which description matches how you usually navigate that environment?

I tend to keep to myself outside of work and look for quiet spaces whenever possible.I can be around people comfortably, but I need regular alone time to reset.I spend time with the group naturally and balance social moments with my own space.I usually enjoy being around the group, shared work and shared living feels motivating to me.
